Younger, Fresher Skin Thanks to Modern Laser Therapy
An even skin tone and firm facial contours are expressions of freshness, youth, and vitality. However, as the years pass, the skin loses its elasticity, fine lines appear, and uneven pigmentation makes us look older. Scars, including acne scars, can also detract from the overall appearance.
Treatment with the modern fractional laser can visibly reduce these signs of aging: It significantly improves the overall skin tone, elasticity, and texture, reduces pore size, and diminishes the appearance of scars. The skin becomes more even, firmer, and fresher—safely and gently, with no downtime.
How Does Laser Treatment Work?
The laser beam is divided into many microscopic beams to remove small areas of the skin, creating so-called ablation channels. These tiny injuries trigger renewal and repair processes in the skin: new collagen is formed, tightening the skin, improving the skin structure, and reducing wrinkles, pigmentation, and pore size. The surrounding tissue remains intact, ensuring quick healing and fewer side effects.
Advantages of Laser Treatment
- Visible results quickly
- Outpatient procedure with short downtime
- Natural-looking and sustainable results
- Stimulation of the body's own processes
- Can be combined with PRP (platelet-rich plasma) and other active ingredients
Procedure and Aftercare
- The treatment should be performed on untanned skin
- Herpes prophylaxis may be necessary
- Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds for about four weeks after the treatment
- The optimal result is visible after several months, as the skin needs time for the body's renewal processes
- For optimal results are multiple treatments necessary
Removal of Skin Lesions with the Laser
Benign skin lesions such as warts, xanthelasmas, fibromas, keratoses, or so-called age warts are usually harmless but often perceived as cosmetically disturbing, especially when they occur on the face or décolleté.
The laser can gently, precisely, and effectively treat these disturbing, raised superficial skin lesions. The altered tissue is removed step by step until the lesion is completely removed. The appearance of many scars can also be significantly improved by matching them to the normal skin structure.
How Does Laser Treatment Work?
The beam of the ablative laser works on the water in the target tissue: The intense light is converted into heat, heating the skin so strongly that the upper skin layer is vaporized and removed in a controlled manner. The disturbing skin lesion is thus removed in precise steps—leaving the surrounding tissue untouched. Various settings allow the laser to be ideally adjusted to the disturbing lesion.
Advantages of Laser Treatment
- Gentle, step-by-step removal of the lesion
- Suitable for many benign skin lesions
- Quick, scar-free healing
- Short treatment times
Procedure and Aftercare
- The treatment should be performed on untanned skin.
- When the upper skin layers are removed, the skin becomes red, and crusts form. Healing takes about 10 days.
- Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds for about four weeks after the treatment. If unavoidable, the treated area must be covered with a high SPF sunscreen.
- Strong heating of the treated skin areas, such as from a sauna visit, should be avoided for about four weeks after the laser treatment.
- For optimal results are multiple treatments necessary
